Bed & Breakfast

The B&B “La Luna Buona” is our 18th century stone farm house situated at a height of 350 mt surrounded by the pastures, woodlands and vineyards of Vesime, in the very heart of the Langhe hills of Asti.

It is strategically located not far from the sea (Italian Riviera), just a few minutes away from Cortemilia, half an hour from Alba and its many attractions, 20 minutes from Acqui, a very pleasant spa-town and 40 minutes from Asti and its lively atmosphere.

You will be surrounded by charming hills where pastures, vineyards, woodlands, castles and stone farmhouses create a landscape of perfect harmony. A network of paths will allow you to go trekking on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, to discover not only the gorgeous landscapes but also the flavours of an area home to a rare local cheese, the Robiola di Roccaverano (D.O.P.), which we produce on our organic farm.

The incredible variety of quiet scenic byroads has much to offer to motorists and motorcyclists: every bend brings new horizons, breathtaking views, new experiences.

In our home you will find rest and relaxion. Restoration of the buildings has carefully preserved the original architecture. You will find stone walls, dome vaulted brick ceilings, oak rafters: the harmonious proportions and shapes of old times and the comforts of today.

Where the hay barn with open arches used to be, three double bed rooms with bathrooms have been built, tastefully furnished with 19th and early 20th century furniture. The rich and varied breakfast is served where the vaulted stable used to be. In the large sitting room with wooden ceiling, fireplace and ancient oak beams you can read, listen to music or just relax.

The country side around you is attractive in every season and if you fancy to have a taste of true country life, in its modern organic and entrepreneurial version, 300 mt away from our B&B you can visit our goat farm and organic dairy producing “Robiola di Roccaverano” and other goat and sheep cheeses now internationally known and appreciated.
