Bed & Breakfast - Organic farm accommodation
The former hay barn, dating back to the eighteenth century, has been turned into guest rooms. The restoration has preserved the ancient shapes, proportions and building materials, simply adding modern comforts. We have three double rooms with bathrooms, with a view of the beautiful landscape of the Langhe hills through wide arched windows. All the rooms are furnished with antique furniture.
The "Prato" room
It is on the first floor.
The wide arched window is formed by a wall made of local stone of a particularly light colour.
The other walls are pale green to create a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. The 1800's wooden bed was inherited from my aunts, who always seemed to me to belong to those times themselves, while the small desk comes from a farm deep in the Langhe hills.
The "Giglio" room
It is on the first floor and has by two wide arched windows.
It is the largest of our rooms. The shade of the paintwork, the wood of the furniture, and the light coming in through the arches, give this room a warm honey coloured atmosphere. The furniture dates back to the 1920's. An angel carved into bedhead of the very large bed will watch over your sleep. The en suite bathroom ensures maximum comfort.
The "Pietra" room
Situated on the ground floor, it directly overlooks the lawn of the courtyard. It has a vaulted brickwork ceiling, two light-coloured stone walls and a large arched window.
The wrought iron bed is decorated with a floral motif, the bedside tables and table are traditional Piedmontese furniture of the nineteenth century, while the flowery decors of the wardrobe contributes to the charm of the room. Because of the ancient structure of the house, the private bathroom for this room is not en suite, but adjoining.
